Chapar M.B. has established in 1989. Chapar is a town under the Dhubri district in the state of Assam. It is located at 26.27 N and 90.47 E. The town is situated on the bank of the Champawati River. The Municipal Board of Chapar is spread in an area of 9.88 sq. K.M. As per census 2011 the total population is 20322. Chapar M.B. has made efforts by dividing entire town in 10 Wards.
